Hello Rebel Poetry, Come to myspace.com and look me up, kishmirburke@yahoo.com. I would like to link up with you. Our organization welcomes students interested in writing research papers as well as essays on Hands Across Africa Relief International. We also welcome volunteer opportunities as well as opportunities for college interns, including graduates. Interested individuals must have computer access and an email address. My name is Kishmir L. Burke, founder of Hands across Africa Relief International founded in November 2005. Our mission is to go into the WORLD and provide humanitarian assistance to people living in deplorable conditions detrimental to human life. Our goal is to provide free health care, pure water supply, emergency food and clothing, emergency shelter and permanent housing, education and employment opportunities, transportation and secular and spiritual counsling. We have partnered with five churches in Ghana where more than 15,000 people go to daily for help, including single homeless mothers, the elderly and disabled including the blind, orphans and orphanages and refugees. We have also partnered with an orphanage home in Liberia. Abandoned children are now receiving love and nurture to help them develop into healthy, strong and stable adults. We have made collaborative efforts with a surgical operator, who is a native Liberian with a vision to develop a Magna Program in Liberia. The Magna Program is designed to prepare students in the areas of technology not limited to medicine, science and computer. We have also made collaborative efforts with a senior engineer at Tyco Health Care, who is a native Nigerian with a vision to develop a communication system in the rural areas of Nigeria. In addition, we have made collaborative efforts with the founder of a radio station in Africa who enables youth in poverty stricken slums to express their hurt, pain, anger and struggle through rap, hip hop and poetry. Please visit our website to learn more about us at www.freewebs.com/haarimission. Sincerely, Kishmir L.
